An amazing collection of heavy industrial machines. Let's hope they don't one day decide they can all get along fine without human beings. Amazing to see how the modern railway are build with all these monster equipments compared to the last century. Meanwhile, here in Melbourne, Australia, we don't even have a rail link from the airport to the city. It's only 12 kms, most of which is surface rail, and would link into new, under-construction, underground metro. I reckon these blokes could do it in a week. These individuals' predecessors, through shoulder-to-shoulder efforts, contributed to the construction of the North American transcontinental railroad. It is gratifying that today they are using state-of-the-art equipment to build the world's fastest high-speed rail system. Transportation forms the foundation of manufacturing, and Europe and America should collaborate with China at an early stage to complete the global construction of a modern high-speed rail network.
