Built at Meyer and Neptun Shipyards in Germany and Meyer Turku in Finland, AIDAnova is the first of a new generation of LNG Powered Cruise Ships for Carnival Cruises - the Helios Class. The vessel is 337m Long and can house 6.600 passengers. This is probably one of the most spectacular cruise ship construction films that I have ever seen. The entire process of putting together a modern cruise ship of this size is beyond mind-boggling. The amount of engineering involved is just mind blowing.. Imagine just drawing up the blueprint, Let alone build it. Never ever I question myself about cruiseship building. Never really thought about this sectioned build up. Thats massive. Talented hardworking people can achieve so much. I can’t even comprehend the amount of work that went into this. Both in the video and behind the scenes. This whole process amazes me. Especially after spending 7 years on cruise ships. I'm very grateful for this video. The beauty of engineering. We are coming from a hole in a tree trunk a short while ago to such a beautiful piece of engineering. Hats off to human advancement. The future looks exciting.
