World's Largest All Terrain Crane

I work on cranes in the upper Midwest USA. Usually 200, 300, 400, and 600 ton cranes. These make the ones I take care of look like toys. Big toys for big boys but seriously these vehicles are pieces of engineering genius the amount of weight that they can handle is truly staggering. After watching the video showcasing the world's largest all-terrain crane, it's clear that this machine is an impressive feat of engineering. The sheer size and power of the crane is remarkable, and the video gives a great sense of just how massive it is in comparison to the people and buildings around it. I like the looks of the cranes I just I just wish somebody was telling me what style Crane it is and what the different things are on the cranes. So I could learn about the cranes. I couldn't help noticing how all of these heavy oversized cranes are used primarily to erect wind turbines. Are there any other uses for these large cranes? i have a quick question folks: why the does these gargantuan cranes put on the end of their boom that extra scaffold boom extender? what it's that role on that anssembly on mork mode engaged?
